Broker-Owner Sharon E. A. Hupprich founded the company after more than a decade in the St. Thomas real estate market. She has been licensed since 1985 and has called the island home since 1981. Today, Calypso Realty works with first-time buyers, longtime island residents, second-home owners, investors, luxury sellers, and clients relocating to the USVI.

Just look for the sign at the corner of Havensight Way and drive on up. We are the second building on the right, top floor, in the attractive two story gray building with a light green hip roof.

Residential and commercial real estate in St. Thomas 

Calypso Realty handles a wide range of real estate transactions, from homes, condos, land, and luxury villas to commercial properties, businesses, and leaseholds.

Sharon has listed and sold businesses ranging from boutiques to restaurants and bars and has brokered leasehold transactions throughout St. Thomas. Her commercial experience includes properties and businesses from American Yacht Harbor and Secret Harbour on the East End to Havensight, downtown Charlotte Amalie, and Frenchtown.

Over the years, she has also worked with local and international clients across the private and public sectors. Past corporate and institutional clients have included AT&T, Cape Air, Marriott, Trammell Crow, Heery International, Cellular One, the federal government, and the USVI government.

Calypso Realty has also assisted U.S. companies exploring opportunities through the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development program, including office leasing and residential property purchases.

What’s different about USVI real estate 

Buying or selling property in the US Virgin Islands can be different from the mainland. Cisterns, generators, hurricane protection, and  insurance, as well as  hillside construction, road access, surveys, and local attorney-led closings are all common parts of USVI real estate.
