I moved to St. Thomas in 1981 and began my real estate career in 1985. After working as a sales agent and later sales manager at Byrne-Brown Realty, I founded Calypso Realty on March 1, 1996.
Today, I continue to serve as Broker-Owner, working with first-time buyers, longtime island residents, second-home owners, investors, luxury sellers, and clients relocating to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Decades of experience in St. Thomas real estate
Over the years, I’ve represented buyers and sellers of homes, condos, land, luxury villas, and other residential properties throughout St. Thomas. My experience also includes commercial real estate, with transactions involving businesses, restaurants, retail spaces, offices, and leaseholds.
USVI properties can come with details buyers and sellers may not encounter on the mainland, including road access, cisterns, generators, insurance, storm protection, property boundaries, and maintenance. I help clients understand those details before they make a decision.
St. Thomas has been home since 1981
I originally moved here from Boston when my husband, Fred, was transferred to St. Thomas by Xerox Corporation. We stayed, built our lives here, and became part of the community.
I’ve also built a network of contractors, architects, electricians, plumbers, landscapers, pool professionals, and other local service providers. Those contacts are especially useful for clients moving from off-island or buying a second home.
A longstanding commitment to the St. Thomas community
I’ve supported local organizations including the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands and Habitat for Humanity. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of My Brother’s Workshop and have also supported the Humane Society of St. Thomas, Lucky Paws, and Cancer Support VI.
